Engineering Services
Hamco Developments has invested in civil engineering software which enables us to provide the following services:
Hydraulic Calculations – for SAB Applications, Sokaway / infiltration design, attenuation design for residential & commercial projects.
Road Alignment Drawings – using 3D civil software we can create 3D road alignment drawings, long sections, cross sections and drainage networks, all contoured and levelled. This service can be used for feasibility studies, support planning application or detailed engineer design.
Swept Path Analysis (Autotrack) – we are able to provide detailed swept path analysis usually for refuse vehicles and articulated lorries to show they successfully & safely navigate the proposed development within the road network. This is a computer simulation of how the vehicle moves around the site and usually required at planning & detailed design stage.
Soakway / Infiltration Testing to BRE 365 – We are able to undertake percolation tests to the industry required standard of BRE 365, this is to assess if the ground conditions are suitable for surface water to be infiltrated through soakaways, infiltration basins, rain gardens, permeable paving etc.
Infiltrations is the preferred method of dealing with surface water when safe to do so and it stands on top of the SUDS hierarchy and should be carried out all developments at an early stage.
We are able to provide instructions for clients to undertake these tests on their own, or provide consultancy services to do this and arrange necessary equipment for these tests to be carried properly and professionally.
